APC will retain power in 2023, says Buhari support group

Forum of Buhari Support Group (FOBS-G) has expressed confidence that the new National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Abdullahi Adamu, will reposition the party to confront the tasks of winning the forthcoming elections in states like Ekiti and Osun, also retaining power in the 2023 general elections.

While congratulating Adamu, the Forum charged the new officials to move quickly into the field to ensure inclusiveness and reward system, which are the catalysts towards unity and genuine reconciliation among party members.

National Chairman of the Forum, Dr Abiso Kabir, while addressing newsmen in Abuja, in said the task ahead requires all hands on deck for the party to move forward.

Kabir commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his wisdom in helping to give direction to the party at a time when there was palpable fear about the fate and future of the party.

He said: “We once again stress our loyalty to Mr President and commitment towards ensuring that the APC continues to wax stronger, as the only progressive party in Nigeria.

“The forum hereby calls on all true lovers of our great party to give support and maximum cooperation to the newly elected leaders for the greater good and benefit of all of us.

“We are happy to state that the consensus arrangement that was brokered among the aspirants for the top positions in the party, by Mr President has allayed those fears as all camps have resolved to work together as good and loyal party members.

“Under this administration, great improvements have been recorded in critical infrastructure development, agricultural and social welfare intervention schemes that have positively impacted on the lives of the people”, Kabir added.
