The All Progressive Congress (APC) has unveiled The Progressive Institute (TPI), a platform it said will promote good governance and progressive ideology for the political space in the country.
The national chairman of the party, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, who describes the formation Institute as a fulfilment of his promise to come up with a program that will further entrench the party in the grassroots, said it (TPI) will serve as the official think-tank where all elected members on the party’s platform.
He said TPI is part of the party’s contribution to enrich the policy with transparent leadership, good governance among others.
Meanwhile, the Bishop of Kaduna Dioceses, Bishop Matthew Kukah, has called President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) to reduce the price of fuel to reduce the suffering the Nigerians are currently passing through saying there is serious hunger in the land.
“I am happy that the political leaders are here and I want to say that Nigerians are hungry. You must fund a way of reducing the prices of fuel to reduce the suffering in the country,” he said.
