APC unleashing suffering on masses ―Rep member

apc logoapc logoTHE member representing Yagba federal constituency of Kogi state in the House of Representatives, Sunday Karimi, on Monday said the All Progressives Congress (APC) had unleashed suffering on the people of the state to deserve being voted out of power in 2019.

He therefore asked the state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, and the APC to prepare for defeat as the suffering masses already inflicted with poverty were set to vote him out of office in 2019.

The lawmaker made the remarks at a meeting of stakeholders of the peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Kogi West Senatorial District, held at the residence of a former Secretary to Kogi State Government. Hon Musa Ahmadu,

Karimi lamented that never had suffering reduced the people of the state to beggars, raising the alarm that the suffering as is currently witnessed in the state should be source of worries to well-meaning people of the state.

Karimi expressed confidence that the PDP would take over the state in 2019, lamenting the level of poverty, hunger and deaths recorded due to hardship under the present administration in the state.

He lamented plight of workers in the state who were not paid their salaries, saying pensioners were owed several months of pension, the  living standard of the citizens in the state is a cause for worry.

The meeting, according to Karimi, was aimed at educating members of developments in the party and to be ready to chase the APC out of Lugard House, adding that members should begin to spread the message that the present administration was out to inflict hardship on the people.

The vice chairman of PDP, West Senatorial District, Kola Ojo, said the meeting was geared towards intimating members of the party on development and on the need to reunite for victory in 2019.

The Vice Chairman, amongst others said the ruling APC in the state had failed, describing the leadership of Bello as lacking the needed bite and purpose.
