APC scribe, Basiru, urges Nigerians to support Tinubu’s administration

Published by

National Secretary of All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, has urged Nigerians to support and ensure that the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration succeeds in the arduous task of repositioning the country for economic growth.

Basiru made the plea during the breaking of the Ramadan fast with the National Director-General of APC Professionals Council, Dr Seyi Bamigbade, saying that Tinubu meant well for Nigerians and was poised towards leaving a lasting legacy despite the challenging economic environment.

The former lawmaker, while making the call, posited that citizens’ support was crucial in delivering democratic dividends and in proffering solutions to peculiar problems facing society.

He insisted that all hands must be on deck to foster development in the country, noting that the era of politics was gone and “it is now time for governance to better the lot of all Nigerians.”

Director-General of APC Professionals Council, Bamigbade, in his remark, expressed gratitude to the APC National Scribe, Sen. Basiru, for the support the national leadership of the party had continued to offer President Tinubu.

Bamigbade intimated him with some of the activities of the Council, including the Renewed Hope scholarship scheme going on in the 36 states of the country and the FCT.
