APC Professional Council hails Bamidele’s emergence as Senate Majority Leader

APC Professionals Council, a group with the ruling party, has congratulated Senator Opeyemi Bamidele representing Ekiti East on his emergence as the Majority Leader of the 10th Senate, assuring that saying that the lawmaker would deploy his vast experience which he wielded in public service in ensuring a smooth relationship between the Legislature and the Executive in the country.

The National Director General of the Council, Hon. Seyi Bamigbade, made the remark in a congratulatory message, a copy of which was made available to newsmen in Lagos, describing his new post as a reward for loyalty and people-oriented service to his constituents in Ekiti and Nigeria as a whole.

Bamigbade, while positing that a smooth relationship between the Legislative and Executive arms of government was germane in assisting the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led government to deliver its Renewed Hope mandate for the people of Nigeria, further described the newly elected Senate leader as a thoroughbred democrat who rose through the ladder as a public servant.

According to him, Bamidele who had served as former Commissioner in Lagos in Asiwaju Tinubu’s administration as governor exemplifies excellence, loyalty and reliability, adding that he was a pillar in the leadership of the 9th Senate and an experienced legislator, who had redefined representation in his senatorial district through numerous infrastructure he had attracted that had enhanced the living standard of the people of Ekiti East Senatorial District.

“Without any shadow of a doubt, Sen. Opeyemi Bamidele is a thoroughbred democrat who rose through the ladder as a public servant. He was a former Commissioner in Lagos in Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s administration as governor.

“He exemplifies excellence, loyalty and reliability. He was a pillar in the leadership of the 9th Senate. As an experienced legislator, he has redefined representation in his senatorial district through numerous infrastructure he has attracted that has enhanced the living standard of the people of Ekiti East,” Bamigbade said.
