ALL Progressives Congress (APC) said on Tuesday that its presidential candidate for the 2019 General Elections will be unveiled at the party’s national convention to be held on October 6, 2018.

The incumbent, President Muhammadu Buhari has signified his intention to seek a second term of office and so far appears to be the only person seeking the party’s ticket for the highest office in the land.

Spokesperson of Lagos State chapter of the party, Mr Joe Igbokwe, made this known on his Facebook account, disclosing further that the party would conduct its governorship primaries on September 28, 2018, all over the federation to pick governorship candidates that would run on its platform.

According to Igbokwe, the party will on September 23 hold primaries to pick candidates that will contest for the Senate seat, while APC candidates for election into the House of Representatives are expected to emerge on September 19, 2018.

The APC chieftain said the party would hold its State House of Assembly Primaries throughout the federation, come September 15th, 2018 to pick its candidates for the 2019 elections.
