APC loses former LG boss in Oyo

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and immediate past chairman of Atisbo local government, Hon. Wasiu Owolabi Akogun, is dead.

Akogun, aged 40, died on Monday at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Ilorin, Kwara State.

The late former boss, as reliably gathered, died of multiple injuries sustained in a road mishap along Shaki-Ilorin road last Thursday.

Akogun until his death was running postgraduate diploma in International Relations at Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin.

The deceased, according to a family source was committed to mother earth on Tuesday at his country home, Irawo Owode.

He is survived by his wife and children.
