APC leadership removes Delta Congress committee chairman

Published by

FOR acting outside the party guidelines and unilaterally announcing the ward congress result, the national leadership of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has replaced the Chairman of the Ward and Local Government Congress Committee in Delta State, Alhaji Sani Dododo.

Dododo was accused of making a unilateral announcement of the result after the May 5 ward congress without consulting other five committee members.

TribuneOnline had reported that Dododo announced the results of the 270 wards of the 25 local government areas of the state at the party’s state secretariat in Asaba without the inputs of other six committee members and a resource to the party national leadership.

The party leadership has, therefore, replaced Dododo with Hon. Emmanuel Chindah from Rivers State for the unconstitutional act.
