APC is a party that rewards corruption, impunity — Rhodes-Vivour

Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the former Labour Party governorship candidate in Lagos, has launched a scathing attack on the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing it as a party that rewards corruption and impunity.

In an interview with Nigeria Info FM, Rhodes-Vivour criticized the APC for attracting the worst of Nigerians, including those with criminal records and fake qualifications.

He also accused the party of relying on bigotry, violence, and rigging to win elections, rather than campaigning on ideas or governing with integrity.

Rhodes-Vivour argued that the APC’s lack of character, competence, and empathy is a major obstacle to Nigeria’s growth and development.

He also alleged that the APC is controlled by cabals that manipulate Lagos State politics and only support aspirants who will do their bidding.

“It is visible even to the blind that APC is a party that rewards corruption, thuggery, and impunity. It’s no surprise they attract the worst of us: fake lawyers, and leaders with records of crime, without certificates.

“It explains why they do not campaign on ideas (or even govern with any) but rely on bigotry, violence, and rigging to force their way into office.

“No nation can grow with a party populated by people without character, competence, and empathy,” he opined.
