A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Borno State, Dr Abiso Kabir has congratulated the incumbent governor of Borno State, Professor Babagana Zulum on his re-election.

Kabir, who is the National Chairman of Forum of Tinubu Shettima Support Groups and the APC Presidential Campaign Council Deputy Director Special Duties III, stated this in a congratulatory message to Zulum in Maiduguri on Monday.

He said that Zulum’s re-election came as a result of hard work and competence.

The APC chieftain further noted that Zulum’s focus in moving the state from accelerated development to sustainable growth since 2019, is enough landmark step for him to be re-elected.

According to Kabir, Zulum’s government through his policies and projects in the last four years has lifted many through the path of prosperity.

“You have been consistent with what you have been doing in the state in terms of security and development.

“You have done well especially in maintaining the peace and development you inherited from your predecessor. Your commitment to peace and unity of the state is worthy of emulation.

“We will continue to support you as you take Borno State to greater heights in the next four years”, Dr Kabir added.
