APC candidate leads Tambuwal with 2,134 votes in 9 LGs declared in Sokoto

The results of the  Gubernatorial elections held in on Saturday Nationwide has continue trooping in from the states collation centre across the country.
In Sokoto, where the collation officer, Professor Fatima B. Mukhtar, the Vice Chancellor of the federal University of Dutse, the collation for the State is supervising the ongoing collation proceeds.
Our correspondent who is monitoring the exercise disclosed that based on the results so far announced. The candidate of APC, Alhaji Ahmed Aliyu has won 3 Local Government with total vote cast of 142,652.
The incumbent governor and the candidate of PDP is trailing in the second position with a win in 6 Local Government, has scored 140,518.
The Local Government released so far as at the time of writing this report is 9 Local Government. The Local Government includes Yabo, Silame, Bodinga, Wurno, Tureta, Tangaza.
Others include Rabbah, Binji and Kware Local Governments. The remaining Local Governments being expected is fourteen which will bring the total number of Local Governments in the State to 23.
