Another big feat for Omawumi

There are indications that singer, songwriter, actress and mother of two, Omawumi Megbele, has joined the growing list of Nigerian artists signed onto the Roc Nation platform, owned by American rapper, Jay Z.

Though no official statement has been made by neither Jay Z nor Omawumi, it was gathered that the singer may have joined Jay Z Roc Nation if the post on Omawumi’s Instagram account is anything to go by.

The fiery musician, who is a brand ambassador for Globacom and other top firms, revealed set tongues wagging when she posted an artwork for her new album entitled, Timeless on Instagram with the Roc Nation logo placed on top of the graphic representation.

It could also not be ascertained what the deal will fetch Omawumi but R gathered that she will be releasing details of the deal anytime from now.

Omawumi has now joined her other colleagues in the persons of Kele Kele Love crooner Tiwatope Savage and Kukere exponent Iyanya who have penned deals with the international record label.

She will also swell the long list of international artists like Big Sean, DJ Khaled and Rihanna who are all contracted to the Roc Nation platform which has offices in London, New York and Los Angeles.
