The diocese of Ibadan North, Anglican Communion, Church of Nigeria, will be holding the 2022 synod starting from Sunday, May 1 to Thursday, May 5, 2022.
This was contained in a press release signed by the Diocesan Chief Communicator/PR Adviser, Ademola Afolabi, and made available to the Tribune Church News. According to the release, the theme of the synod is: “Three Philosophies of Life: Beat Them Up, Pass Them Up, Lift Them Up.
The diocesan communicator added that activities lined up will hold under the auspices of the diocesan bishop and archbishop of Ibadan ecclesiastical province, The Most Reverend Dr. Segun Okubadejo. While the opening ceremony will come up on Sunday, May 1, at the Cathedral of St. Peters, Aremo, where the Right Reverend Stephen Fagbemi will preach, Archbishop Okubadejo will deliver his charge on Monday, May 2, wherein he will review the activities of the diocese and address contemporary issues in the country.
