ONE of the sons of a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Chief Tony Anenih, Eugene, on Sunday, slumped and died at a Lagos club.
Tribune Online gathered that the deceased, who was until his death the Chief Executive Officer of Nova Finances, went to the club to play tennis.
Though details of his death were still sketchy at the time of filing this report, Eugene, it was gathered, died on the way while he was being rushed to St Nicholas Hospital.
A police source who confirmed the death to the Tribune Online on condition of anonymity said “Eugene Anenih passed on today playing tennis at the club.”
The police source added that “he was rushed to St Nicholas Hospital but he died before arriving the hospital.”
The deceased was referred to the hospital after attempts to revive him at the club by medical personnel failed.
