Android for Apple finally?

Published by

Apple Music is testing out an Android Auto integration, and it’s available now in beta on version 2.6.0. All you need to do is download the beta version of Apple Music, which you can find over on Android Police, and the latest version of Android Auto, then go into Auto and tap on what music you’d like to listen to.

Apple Music will now show up as the top option, and you can stream radio and specific songs. It’s a good alternative music streaming option, especially when there are certain titles that are unavailable in Spotify or in the region where you live.

Apple has never integrated with Android Auto before. Apple has never integrated with what’s essentially Google’s version of CarPlay before. It’s also not compatible with the Google Home and Chromecast. There’s no news on when those integrations will become available.
