Anambra primary healthcare development agency joins digitization train

The Anambra State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (ASPHDA) has taken delivery of their digital work tools as provided by Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, Fromm, the Anambra State ICT Agency.
This is a follow-up to the first 200 cutting-edge laptops and PCs distributed to MDAs in the state to facilitate the state’s transition to digital work procedures.
The PC distribution exercise is an integral part of Governor Soludo’s overall goal to transform Anambra into a smart and livable megacity.
Receiving the work tools from the MD/CEO of the ICT Agency, Mr. Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata, the Executive Secretary of the State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Pharm. Chisom Uchem praised Governor Soludo for making good his promise to digitize the state.
“Today, we are witnessing what I term disruptive innovation, an analog to digital transition that will allow us, amongst other things, to improve our data collection processes as well as see and monitor, in real-time, the activities of our field personnel.
“IT is the new solution for us in this Agency, and we appreciate Mr. Solution himself, Governor Charles Soludo, CFR, for providing this solution. Indeed, the solution is here.
“With these digital work tools, work will go on seamlessly, we can share documents online without fear of document loss. We can achieve more even without being in the same space,” she concluded.
On his part,  the Head of the Planning, research, and Statistics Department at the Anambra State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Mr. Casmir Mabia, commended Governor Soludo for the digital transformation.
“This provision will definitely make our jobs easier and increase our productivity. Our executive secretary, on her part, is one that abhors the analog, paper way of doing jobs. So with this innovation, we can communicate with her better and get jobs done even when she is out of office, thereby serving Ndi Anambra better,” he said.
Responding, the MD/CEO of Anambra ICT Agency reiterated the passion of Governor Soludo to ensure that everything in Anambra has a touch of Technology which is further showcased in the strengthening of the Anambra workforce with digital tools.
“Let me remind you that the ICT Agency, as the agency mandated to see to the implementation of everything technology and technology everywhere mantra of Mr. Governor, is always available to provide the necessary technical support to aid your onboarding and transition process
“All critical apps and software have been pre-installed in these work tools you are receiving today like other MDAs who have received theirs before you, one of which is the Unified Messaging System which allows one to plan deliverables better, collaborate with team members, hold meetings, share correspondence virtually, and track progress as work advances.
“We are excited about this wave of the digital revolution sweeping through the state workforce owing to the visionary leadership of Mr. Governor, and we cannot wait to see what you will achieve with this transition,” Agbata concluded.
