Supreme Court
Chairman of Anambra state People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Ndubuisi Nwobu has lauded the Supreme Court judgment that nullified the election of All Progressives Congress( APC) governor-elect of Bayelsa, Mr. David Lyon at the last November governorship election in the state
Nwobu who spoke to TribuneOnline in Awka, on Thursday, shortly after the judgment, said it is a commendable judgment because there is no way, one could run for such an office with forged documents.
According to him, if someone gets to such office with fake documents, there is a tendency that the person would run the state how it should not be run.
“We are happy that the Supreme Court made the right judgment and there is no way one will occupy the office of the governor with a fake certificate. This means that he will rule the state fraudulently” he said.
All efforts to get the state APC chairman, Chief Basil Ejidike, on development, proved abortive as he refused to pick calls put to him.
