Anambra State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has commended residents, particularly youths, for not participating in the ongoing nationwide protests against bad governance and hardship.
The State party chairman, Chief Basil Ejidike, praised the people for their patience and understanding with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, saying it shows their patriotic understanding of the current situation.
Ejidike acknowledged the legitimate right to peaceful protest but warned against hijack by unscrupulous elements, citing past experiences.
He appealed for calm and constructive dialogue, highlighting President Tinubu’s achievements in infrastructure development, economic policies, and anti-corruption efforts.
The APC chairman urged residents to sustain their support for the President, emphasising the need for collective responsibility in building a prosperous Nigeria.
