THE Association of Mobile Money Operators of Nigeria (AMMON) has re-elected the Chairman/CEO of Bizi Mobile Cashless Constant Limited, Alhaji Aminu Aminu Bizi as its Chairman of National Caretaker Committee (NCC). Other elected members were: Vice Chairman, Mr. Taiwo Odebunmi from Ekiti State; Secretary/Legal Adviser, Barrister Emmanuel Etti from Akwa Ibom State; Assistant Secretary, Mr. Usman Ismail from Yobe State; Treasurer, Mrs. Helen Emeka from Ebonyi State; Organizing Secretary, as well as Alhaji Nuru Hashimu from Niger State and Auditor, Adamu AbdulAzeez from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
In a communiqué issued shortly after its Annual General Meeting (AGM), a copy of which was made available to the Nigerian Tribune in Abuja, on Wednesday, the association, therefore, commended the Emir of Kano, Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi II, for his tireless support to the association.
The communiqué said the leaders and stakeholders across the 36 states of the Federation, including Abuja, collectively endorsed Alhaji Aminu to continue piloting the affairs of the association considering the landmark achievements he had recorded in a short while.
It said they respectively expressed their satisfaction on the way and manner he had led the association, especially for ensuring unity, taking it to greater height and above all without tribalism among its members.

According to the communiqué, “Alhaji Aminu has been even using his personal resources towards enlisting and educating Nigerians on the importance of agency banking which was introduced by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
“We also commended His Royal Highness, the Emir of Kano Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi II for his tireless effort and support to the Chairman of the association, Alhaji Aminu whom he regarded as his son, and his support and cooperation to the teeming members of the association.” The communiqué added.
They also commended the Emir for collaborating with Bizi Mobile to organized a five-day first of its kind 2018 Banking Fair in Kano State.
In his acceptance speech, Alhaji Aminu appreciated the leaders for giving him another opportunity to pilot the affairs of the association once more, promising not to let them down.
He, therefore, directed the participants to elect excos in their various states before the next AGM, assuring them of his total support.
He also urged other elected members to cooperate with him to take the association to the enviable position.
