I have been noticing some changes in my body for the past three months now. My tummy is getting bigger with body pains all over. However, I still see my menses as and when due. Is it possible for me to be pregnant and still be seeing my menses?

While it is possible to bleed while pregnant, this type of bleeding is not menstruation. Bleeding while pregnant should always be treated as an emergency, and should be evaluated immediately by a doctor. It could be anything from an irritated cervix to a threatened miscarriage therefore, it is important for you to undertake a Pregnancy Test as well as a Pelvic Ultrasound Investigation to clarify the situation. In addition, your bloated abdomen could be due to other reasons not related to pregnancy such as hypertension, heart or kidney problems which also need to be properly investigated.
