Following alleged rape accusation against founder and senior preacher of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), the authority of the church in Ilorin, Kwara State has urged members of the church not to engage in arguments with the general public over the matter.
Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo gave the directive in his Sunday service programme in Abuja which the church in Ilorin hooked up to and monitored by our correspondent in Ilorin.
It is recalled that Mr Fatoyinbo had been in the media since Friday when a video interview of a church member, Busola Dakolo, accusing him of rape, went viral.
Meanwhile, the church in Ilorin on Sunday did not witness any protest by any group as the church service only saw presence of security operatives with eagle eyes on those coming in and going out of the church premises
However, COZA Pastor in Ilorin, Kenneth Aboraja, after disconnection from Abuja service, urged members not to quarrel with people over the matter, saying that they should go straight to their homes after the service.
The cleric said that people had also called him names while urging members of the church, especially, young ladies to wait after the service for a brief and not mandatory meeting.
