Align with Tinubu’s vision, Olowu of Kuta charges Nigerians

The Olowu of Kuta Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Ahmed Adekunle Oyelude Makama Tegbosun III, has charged Nigerians to align with the vision of progress, inclusivity, and national development of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

He also urged Nigerians to renew their hope and collectively resolve to move the country forward.

The monarch gave the charge in his New Year message.

He urged all Nigerians to continue to support and appreciate the sacrifices of the military to build a safer and more prosperous nation.

He said, “As we step into the year 2025, I extend my heartfelt greetings to all Nigerians and commend the resilience, unity, and patriotism that continue to bind us as a people.

“This is a time for reflection, renewed hope, and collective resolve to move our great nation forward.

“I wish to express profound gratitude to the gallant officers and men of the Nigerian Armed Forces and other Security Agencies. Your unwavering commitment to the defence of our sovereignty and the security of our people remains a beacon of hope.

“I urge all Nigerians to continue supporting and appreciating the sacrifices of our military. Together, we can build a safer and more prosperous nation.

“As the mantle of leadership rests firmly on His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.

“I encourage every citizen to align with the vision of progress, inclusivity, and national development that his administration embodies.

“Through unity and collaboration, we can achieve greater milestones in governance and economic growth.

“Additionally, I emphasise the significance of our traditional institutions as custodians of culture and heritage. The royal stool remains a symbol of stability, wisdom, and continuity, and I call on all Nigerians to uphold the respect and dignity of our traditional institutions.

“Likewise, let us continue to embrace and promote our Isẹ̀ṣe traditions, which embody the spiritual and cultural richness of our people.

“These values and practices serve as an anchor for our identity and unity in diversity.As we begin this new chapter, I pray for peace, prosperity, and progress for our dear country.

“May 2025 be a year of transformation, renewed hope, and unprecedented achievements for Nigeria.”
