Akinosun counsels Unity Forum

A member of the National Board of Trustees of the Buhari Campaign Organisation and senatorial aspirant in Oyo South, Dr. Fola Akinosun, has counselled the Unity Forum to critically reconsider their stand about leaving the All Progressives Congress (APC).

This was contained in a press statement personally signed by him and made available to newsmen.

Akinosun described the decision of members of the Unity Forum to leave the party as a shock in view of the interventions by the leadership of the party to resolve all grievances.

He observed that disagreements are bound to occur in any human organisation, adding that if politics is about service then no sacrifice should be seen to be too much to make.

He said; “If you find a snake in the house you laboured to build and you move to your neighbour’s house only to find a bigger snake with its children there, what will you do? This means your relocation would not have solved the problem but compounded it.  No doubt, defection is full of uncertainties and is no more fashionable.”
