Chief Olusegun Oladipupo
Chairman of Iperu Mini Stadium Committee (IMSC), Chief Olusegun Oladipupo, has described the Akesan Day celebration as a showcase of the rich socio-cultural heritage of Iperu Akesanland.
Oladipupo stated this while speaking at the Christ Apostolic Grammar School playground, venue of the 2024 Akesan Day celebration.
He described the event as one that is cherished by sons and daughters of Iperu, both at home and in the diaspora.
Oladipupo, in a release signed by his Liaison Officer/Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Temitope Oyekan further said that it was a gathering that has always brought people of Iperu community together as citizens to develop a developmental agenda and chart a positive way forward for Iperu
He said the celebration has fostered unity and friendliness among the people, just as it engendered peaceful coexistence and infrastructural development of the town.
He commended and congratulated the Alaperu of Iperu, Oba Adeleke Adelekan Idowu-Basibo, on the anniversary and for the achievements he had recorded on the reign.
Oladipupo also felicitated the Iperu Development Association led by Otunba Taiwo Oyebanjo; the Akesan Day Planning Committee; clubs, associations, groups and societies and everyone who participated to make this year’s edition a success.
He appreciated the state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for his strides as reflected in the various people-oriented projects and programmes spread across the state.
