Akeredolu’s return, soothing balm for Ondo people — Odimayo

The Lawmaker Representing Irele/ Okitipupa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Jimi Odimayo, on Friday, described the return of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State from his medical vacation as a soothing balm for the people of the state.

Odimayo who expressed delight with the return of Akeredolu to the country said the Ondo state governor’s return to the country would further boost the act of governance in the state.

He said apart from boosting governance in the state, the return of Akeredolu from the medical vacation will rekindle hope and strengthen faith among the citizens of Ondo state that the state would be great again.

Odimayo in a statement from his media office and signed by him, said the spontaneous celebrations and jubilations that greeted the governor’s return across the length and breadth of the state was a testament to the love of the people towards the governor Akeredolu

According to the federal lawmaker, who explained that Akeredolu over the years has contributed to the development of the state across major sectors in the state.

He said the Akeredolu-led administration had touched every local government area in the state with developmental projects and policies in all the 18 Local government areas of the state.

The chairman House Committee on Population Commission said “there is no doubt, the return of our dear and beloved governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, is perhaps the greatest news we received on Thursday especially considering the level of celebrations across the state on the news of his return.

“I am extremely happy that our performing and dogged governor is back to continue his good works across the state and I would like to commend the first lady, Arabinrin Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu for standing by her husband during the course of the medical leave.

“The people of Ondo state should continue in their prayers and support for the first family as they continue to offer more dividends of democracy to the people.”
