The Ondo State governor, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu, on Thursday, announced that as part of the celebration of his 100 days in office, he will hold roundtable discussions on the benefits and opportunities of cannabis plant and CBD oil on June 7 and 8.
Akeredolu, in his verified Twitter handle @RotimiAkeredolu, disclosed that as part of activities of his 100 days in office, he plans to hold roundtable dialogues on the benefits and opportunities of cannabis plant and cannabis oil in Nigeria.
The discussions, according to him, is to hold on June 7 and 8 at the Dome, International Cultural and Event Centre, Akure, and will hold each day at 1:00 p.m.
According to Akeredolu in the tweet: “We will keep the conversation going. Diversification is key. I am looking forward in particular to the stakeholders roundtable dialogue on cannabis which will be holding next Monday and Tuesday as part of the #Aketi100DaysInOffice activities.”
The electronic flier that accompanied the tweet also reads: “Ondo State Government and Partners hold stakeholder’s roundtable on The benefits and opportunities of canabis plant and CBD oil in Nigeria-Research, Legalization, License, Medicine, Adro-economy, Empowerment, IGR and Trade Exchange.
