Akeredolu to inaugurate Commissioners August 31

Ondo State Governor, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu

FOLLOWING the confirmation of the 18 commissioner nominees by the Ondo state House of Assembly on Tuesday, the inauguration of the newly confirmed commissioners has been slated for August 31, 2017.

This was contained in a statement issued and signed by the Chief Press Secretary (CPS)  to the governor, Segun Ajiboye, confirmed the date of the inauguration.

He said the inauguration would be held at the International Event Center, DOME at the state capital, Akure.

According to him, “as part of the moves to ensure accelerated development in all the nooks and crannies of the state, Ondo State governor, Rotimi Akeredolu  will on Wednesday, August 30, 2017, swear in the 18 Commissioners of the state at the international Event Center, The Dome, Akure, the state capital”

Meanwhile, Governor Akeredolu has approved the appointment of Rt Hon Oluwasegunota Bolarinwa as the Senior Special Assistant on Legislative Matters.

Bolarinwa’s appointment takes effect from August 31, 2017, who replaces Rt Hon Taofeek Abdusallam, who has been appointed as commissioner in the state

Also, the governor has approved the appointments of Mrs Bunmi Ademosu and Mr Boye Oyewunmi as Special Advisers.

Before this appointment, Ademosu and Oyewunmi were Senior Special Assistants on Public & Inter Government Relations and Development & Investment respectively.
