The sharing happiness brand, as many people love to call it, has been dubbed the mother of all comedy shows, and has been sweeping across the South-West states of the country in the last few months, creating platforms and empowering young and talented acts in the music and comedy circles.
As the June 12 date of the event draws near, Governor Akeredolu, in his office, pumped a fist in the air in support of the show as he displayed the Laffmattazz picture of Adeyinka in what could be described as a sign of endorsement.
Speaking on the endorsement and what the people should expect, Adeyinka, at a media parley, expressed high optimism towards the event that some of the biggest names in music and comedy will thrill the residents of the state in a special way.
The Dome, Akure, venue of the event, will play host to the Laffmattazz team, as plans are already in top gear to give the people value for their money and time with Adeyinka assuring the people of a swell time.
“I am glad that the number one citizen in the state has endorsed the event. That means we have the backing of the state government to give the people of the state something that would make them forget their worries and put smiles on their faces,” he assured.
On the list of entertainers billed to deliver stellar performances for the evening are: Omobaba no 1, Koffi, Woli Agba, Kennyblaq, Peteru, Woli Arole the prophet, Dr. Smile, Baba Alariya, Sweet Steve, Hondastevo, MC. Ajele, and a host of other fine acts.
According to Adeyinka, musical acts confirmed for the day include Reminisce, Small Doctor, Slimcase Oshosondi, CDQ, Dorman, Faze, Sound Sultan, Lord of Ajasa even as many more are expected to join the train on the day.
