Akere market fire: Sanwo-Olu donates N100m to traders

Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Wednesday, donated a sum of N100 million to traders in the burnt Akere Motor Parts and Allied Dealers Association (AMPADA) in Olodi- Apapa, Ajegunle.

Governor Sanwo-Olu made the donation while on a visit to the market, which got burnt last week, living one dead and several goods worth millions of naira destroyed.

The governor also laid the foundation for a new two-story market building in the place, saying the efforts were to help alleviate the plight of the traders who lost goods and cash in the fire.
