GOVERNOR Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State is scheduled to interact with residents of the state, on Thursday, at Conference Centre, University of Ibadan, in the first of three town hall meetings.
Issues ranging from education to conduct of local government election, creation of local council development area, workforce restructuring, industrial relations, government policies on environment, health and education will dominate the interactive session.
According to Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Mr Toye Arulogun, the new education policy of the state, as it relates to the establishment of school governing boards, will be further explained.
While enjoining residents of the state across different sectors of the state to be present at the session to advance their views on government policies, Arulogun said other town hall meetings were scheduled to hold at Saki and Oyo, subsequently.
Meanwhile, the Public Works department of the state government is set to embark upon repair and rehabilitation of roads in some parts of Ibadan, Oyo and Ogbomoso.
