Aiyedatiwa appoints Fasoranti’s son as Ondo SSG

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State on Monday approved the appointment of Taiwo Fasoranti, son of the leader of the Pan-Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere, Chief Reuben Fasoranti, as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

Until his appointment as SSG, Dr. Fasoranti, who hails from Akure South Local Government Area, served as the Chairman of the Ondo State Hospitals Management Board.

Additionally, the governor approved the reappointment of Dr. Kayode Ajulo as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, and Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac as Commissioner for Finance.

Furthermore, the governor reappointed four Special Advisers, while the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing, Engr. Abiola Olawoye, was elevated to the position of Special Adviser on Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing.

Adeniyan listed the Special Advisers as Johnson Alabi (Power), Dr. Seun Osamaye (Women Affairs), Comrade Bola Taiwo (Union Matters & Special Duties), and Prof. Simidele Odimayo (Health).

The appointments were announced as the governor resumed work in his office just minutes after being sworn in as the 7th democratically elected governor of the state.

The appointments were contained in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, who stated that all appointments take immediate effect.

Aiyedatiwa urged the new appointees to hit the ground running in delivering effective and efficient services to the people of Ondo State.
