Agriculture, key to sustainable growth — Gov Bago

Niger State Governor, Umaru Bago has said that investment in agriculture is key in changing the narrative and creating prosperity for the residents of Niger State.

The Governor stated this at a dinner to wrap up activities to celebrate the one-year anniversary of his administration. held at the Justice Idris Legbo Kutigi International Conference Centre, Minna.

He stated this at the Justice Idris Legbo Kutigi International Conference Centre Minna, adding that the state has strength in agriculture, hence his government desires to ensure food sufficiency and socio-economic prosperity.

The Governor noted that the state has attracted several local and International agricultural investments to the state and urged the people to key into the agriculture initiative of his administration for a more improved life.

He seized the opportunity to once again appreciate the synergy existing between the executive, legislative and judicial arms of government in the state while assuring that his government will continue to strengthen it for the overall good of the state.

The event was characterised by musical performances from various artists from within and outside the state, cutting of the anniversary cake and the presentation of gifts to the Governor.
