Lagos State chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has called on his All Progressives Congress (APC) counterpart, Mr Jide Sanwoolu, to justify the originality of his campaign promises concerning his purported plan to install WiFi within the Lagos State University (LASU) “which to the PDP are clear ‘Copy and Paste’ ideas of her governorship candidate, Mr Jimi Agbaje.”
PDP threw this challenge in a statement made available to the Nigerian Tribune by its spokesperson, Mr. Taofik Gani, saying plans to install WiFi within LASU was one of the major campaign promises of Mr. Agbaje since 2014.
This was just as the party berated the APC standard bearer for driving around the state using siren in his convoy as if he was already a governor.

“Indeed Mr Sanwoolu will remain fake in his promises. The WiFi project has always been frontal in Agbaje’s promises. Whereas Sanwoolu is restricting the project to only LASU and also to be used within a timed period, the original idea by Agbaje remains to install free, safe, unlimited, fast WiFi connections in all our public school, especially tertiary and secondary, and in conducive public areas of the state. We remain tied to the promise,” the PDP said.
PDP said it was of the opinion that Sanwoolu remained an unprepared person with no required readiness for the herculean job of Lagos State governor.
“We alert Lagosians to reject his mediocrity and never vote for him. Sanwoolu is not self convinced in this race, he does not have any original idea to develop Lagos State, he is only being propelled by the APC chieftains who will cage him to enrich themselves alone,” the party said.
