Playing the role of Esusu was a thrilling yet challenging experience for Gafar. As an actor, you should be ready to fit into any character you’re called upon to do,” he explained. “It’s a large family the cast, the crew, everybody was just amazing,” he said. “I learned a lot on the set of ‘Seven Doors’. In this industry, you must always be ready to learn more.”

“I can’t do it without you guys,” he said. “Your criticism and encouragement mean a lot to me. You guys are just too wonderful.”

Gafar teased big plans for the coming year, hinting at projects that will break boundaries. “Something BIG… HUGE… something unusual,” he said with a laugh. “I have always been an advocate of phallocentric cross-cultural production, and that’s what you should expect.”
