African quality institute achievement award holds in Lagos

The African Quality Institute has concluded arrangements to host one of the biggest award ceremony and conference in Nigeria.

With the theme; “Quality, a New Culture for a New Africa,” the conference is expected to be attended by visitors and awardees from both Nigeria and Africa.

According to the convener of the event Desmond Esorougwe this unique event is slated for September 09, 2016 at Sheraton Hotels & Towers, Ikeja, Lagos, starting from 10 am.

Esorougwe believes quality journey is one for all organization, and all organizations use and need quality for sustenance, growth and consistency.

The event he said, will come in three sections: the conference, Exhibition, and an award night.

The Conference section which is titled Africa Quality Improvement Conference has its objective to provide a platform to re-enforce the growing relationship between quality innovation and leadership. “Focus area is quality, innovation and leadership,” he said.

The exhibition section is a professional trade show that focuses on quality products and services in all orgainisations. The exhibition will give 360 degree top visibility to trends and innovations, with an opportunity for networking,” he observed.

The African achievement Awards is an annual event which seek to celebrate leadership, innovation and creativity in quality management.

The priority is to promote quality awareness in Africa. It sees to promote Africa product and services consciousness on quality management discipline, thereby creating sustainable environment for business growth and profitability.

Other objectives of the institute are : to sensitize all stakeholders to embrace best practice in quality management, share and exchange idea on the importance of quality to nation, organization and individual, provide a platform to reinforce the growing relationship between quality and productivity and setting and improving service standard in organizations.
