AFEEDi Africa Seminar Empowers Nigerian SMEs for Economic Growth

The Africa Focus for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development Initiative (AFEEDi Africa) hosted a seminar dedicated to enabling Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Nigeria.

The program entitled “Enabling SMEs: Starting and Scaling Up Businesses in Africa,” the event, held on May 27, 2023, provided an invaluable platform for business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs to gain insights and resources.

The Programmes Director, John Aiyede, at the opening session, highlighted AFEEDi Africa’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and driving economic development through impactful events. The seminar also featured a captivating session delivered by Mr. Adeolu Timothy Durosawo, an esteemed expert in Product Growth and Business Development.

Mr Durosawo’s expertise encompassed a wealth of knowledge, ideas, and opportunities for business entry and expansion. His insights provided attendees with a deeper understanding of the essential strategies, plans, and procedures for establishing and scaling up successful businesses in Africa.

With a particular focus on enabling factors for scaling up businesses, the seminar shed light on identifying and leveraging growth opportunities, overcoming challenges, and building sustainable business models. Mr. Durosawo emphasized the critical role of economic freedom and offered practical approaches to navigate the complex legal and regulatory landscape within the business environment.
