Adjusting to economic realities

THE remuneration fit for a worker is in accordance with the work done. So, the minimum wage is also applicable to the private sector of the economy.

Most people in the private sector are underpaid due to the lack of competence and skills. They need to be trained on the job so that the employer can regularise and give them the right wages, with the minimum wage in mind.

Now, with the rise in fuel price and exchange rate, the cost of living has risen.

Everybody must try to adjust to the inflation. We expect the fuel price to be stable and every other sector will follow suit. With God on our side, Nigeria will go through the economic needle.

It needs all our prayers and adjustment. All the people in positions of authority should take a bold step to adjust to the inflation trend.
