The Ondo State Government has called on landowners across the 18 Local Government Areas to obtain proper building approval from the State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development before embarking on any construction.
This was made known by the Ondo State Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Alhaji Rasheed Badmus while speaking with the journalists in Akure.
Badmus stated that there are extant laws guiding the construction of buildings in the state that developers must adhere strictly to.
The commissioner added that it was necessary for landowners to visit the ministry for requisite knowledge in order to maintain a balanced and conventional town planning structure in the state.
