Adeyemo inspects construction at Pelican Ecostay apartments, donates items to newborn’s family

The Chief Executive Officer of Pelican Valley Nigeria Limited, Dr Babatunde Adeyemo, has inspected the ongoing construction at the firms Ecostay apartments, which is is set to be commissioned later in the year.

This is just as he donated a goat, beverages and light refreshments towards the naming ceremony of the newborn of one of his client-landlords at Pelican Brief Estate, Mr. Sefiu Akintunde Oyeleye.

It was gathered that Oyeleye’s wife gave birth on NEw Year Day, the same day he formally moved into his house inside the estate located at Kobape area of Abeokuta, Ogun State.

During the visit to the estate’s first landlord on Saturday, Adeyemo donated the items to support the naming ceremony scheduled for Monday, January 8th.

In their reactions, Mr Oyeleye, his wife and his mother appreciated Adeyemo for the kind gesture.

After the visit, inspected the Pelican Ecostay, commended the workers and engineer-in-charge, Engr. Azeez Opeyemi while urging them to expedite actions on the project.

He disclosed that the first set of the apartments will be commissioned on September 11, 2024 at an event to be attended by Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun; former Governor Olusegun Osoba and Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Tunji Odunlami.

While also inspecting the construction of the interlocked road within the estate, Adeyemo further disclosed that one of the longest major drive in the estate will be named after Osoba drive for the rural electrification project his administration completed in the area which the Pelican project has continued to benefit from.

“Ecostay apartment is highly unique where everything there is going to be 100% eco-friendly. We have started planting trees there. The tree project costs us over N10 million. We want to make it a tourist attraction. We have placed an order for three camels, donkeys, and peacocks to make the ambience scenery and natural.

“Pelican’s Ecostay Apartments building sites layout is fully approved by the Ogun State government, with provisions for a purpose-built lounge, gym, mini club, recreation, skid gas station, green areas, open space and hospital. Those are some of the unique advantages of our products. You can call it our unique selling points,” Adeyemo added.
