Adeshina gains widespread support as Human Rights Report Commission election hots up

As the Human Rights Report Commission of Nigeria prepares for its highly anticipated National presidential election scheduled for Saturday, September 7th, 2024, in Asaba, Comrade Adeshina Adewale Excel has continued to gather strong support from various regions.

Comrade Adeshina Adewale Excel, who hails from Oyo State in the South West region, has garnered the endorsement of both the North Central and South-South regions, making him a strong contender in the upcoming election. His support base is not just regional but cuts across the country, signalling his wide appeal as a candidate.

In the screening conducted by the electoral committee of the Human Rights Report Commission of Nigeria, led by General Secretary Comrade Kabiru Hammed, Comrade Excel received commendations from all quarters.

Notably, the screening process revealed that Comrade Excel is the youngest candidate in the race, a fact that has earned him widespread admiration and the title of “youngest and mightiest” among his peers.

Comrade Excel has used his platform to introduce innovative ideas aimed at transforming the commission and contributing to national progress. One of his key promises is the enhancement of the Nigerian Constitution by ensuring its translation into major local languages such as Yoruba, Hausa, and Igbo.

This initiative is expected to make the Constitution more accessible to a wider audience and foster a greater understanding of fundamental rights.

In addition, Comrade Excel has expressed a commitment to tackling Nigeria’s ongoing economic challenges.

He emphasised that the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) shares responsibility for the current economic crisis, arguing that their focus on securing a national minimum wage has left small and medium enterprises (SMEs) struggling to cope with rising costs.

Comrade Excel pointed out that while the civil service enjoys the benefits of the wage increase, other sectors, including private schools, POS operators, and small businesses, are unable to afford the same compensation for their employees.
