Actress battles with ‘strange disease’

She can be referred to as a veteran in the Yoruba version of Nollywood. She is quite an old woman in her 60s, so she used to act the role of a mother and she is from the popular city in the South-West where they love amala and gbegiri.

For some time, she did not appear in movies and many people wondered what could have been responsible for her long absence. However, we were told by Olofofos that the woman was down with a ‘strange disease.’

In fact, the situation was so serious that she had to be flown out to Mama Charlie’s country after some eminent people raised some money for her and she spent quite some time at the hospital there before she was discharged.

What Olofofos told us is that after some time, the ‘strange disease’ came back again, necessitating her being flown out again, this time to the country of Amitar Bachan and Dhamendra.

Olofofos told Nosey Parker that she has been battling with the ‘strange disease’ since last year July and that report from the country where she is now said she is responding to treatment.
