Nigerian on-air personality, Oladotun Kayode, aka Dod2tun, is legally required to keep Dbanj’s name out of his mouth in his ongoing custody battle for their children.
D’banj, through his lawyer, Toheeb Lawal, told an Abuja High Court to restrain Dod2tun from making derogatory comments about him on social media.
Court documents made available to the media and dated October 18, 2023 signed and stamped by the register, Chief Emmanuel Iyana, disallowed Dod2tun or anyone from talking about the singer.
The document reads in part, “An order restraining the defendant (Do2dtun) either by himself, servants, privies, cohorts, representatives or any person deriving authority from him from further making any malicious, intimidating or defamatory post directing at the complainant (D’banj) on any social media platform or news media.”
The court directed the force intelligence bureau’s deputy inspector General of police to look into a criminal complaint filed by D’banj against Do2dtun and provide a report within two weeks.
The case was adjourned till October 30 for hearing.
All this happened as a result of the ongoing tussle between Do2dtun and his ex-wife, Taiwo Omotayo, regarding the custody of their two daughters.
Do2dtun alleged that Taiwo went against their previous custody arrangement and refused to let him see their children.
Taking to his Instagram page, Do2dtun dragged her brother, Dbanj, into the picture, alleging that he was aiding Taiwo.
