The governor said a proper, transparent and independent investigation would be launched into the Olomore incident on Friday and the killing of Kazeem on Saturday.

Abiodun said his administration would never take the issue of security of lives and property of the people of the state with levity, describing the late player as a young man with great potentials for the development of the state and the nation in general.

He sympathised with the two victims hospitalised as a result of the Friday shooting at Olomoore market, Abeokuta, by men of the anti-cultism team of Ogun State police command.
