Abducted girls: Adesua Wellington calls for prayers

Popular actress, Adesua Wellington,  should be celebrating her first birthday as a married woman, but it seems to be mixed-feelings for the actress as she expressed her concern over the missing 111 schoolgirls of Government Girls Secondary School, Dapchi, Yobe State, following an attack by Boko Haram this week.

Instead of ‘painting the town red’ for the birthday bash, the wife of  EME label boss, Banky W, seems to be troubled over the incident and what the girls might be going through.

Adesua has seized the celebration of her birthday to call for a prayer session for the safe return of the girls.

She took to her social media to launch the ‘campaign’ saying, “I am completely overwhelmed! Thanks to everyone that’s showing me, love, today. My heart is full. As you celebrate me please, take a moment to say a little prayer for the girls that were abducted. Let’s pray for their safe return to their families who love them.”

On the other hand, her hubby, Banky W, who is overwhelmed to celebrate his wife mesmerised the social media to extol his wife as she celebrated her new age.

Banky W, who could not hide his feelings posted pictures of Adesua with a ‘love letter.’

He wrote: “Today is #BaeDay…Susu… on the inside and out, you are unquestionably the most beautiful person I know. Thank you for making me the luckiest man on earth. Thank you for loving me, and being my backbone. Thank you for going on this journey with me and making the past few months, the absolute best of my wife. You mean the world to me and I love you more than words could ever properly express. As the whole world celebrates you today, I pray that God will bless, protect and guide you. May He enlarge our coasts, grant you your heart’s desires, and overwhelm you with His grace and favour. Happy birthday Mrs W…”
