Nigerians have expressed their readiness to switch to other telecom providers if MTN Nigeria shuts down its operations due to the current economic challenges.
Recall that the telecom giant recently called for its first tariff hike in 11 years, citing the need to manage soaring costs and maintain service quality.
They warned that without this increase, the financial stability of the sector and service standards would continue to deteriorate.

In response to this on Tribune Online’s social media platforms, Nigerians made it clear they would migrate to other telecom services if MTN follows through with its warning to shut down.
Reacting on Facebook, a user, @Deji Ajayi Glorious said, “Is not our problem. We are going to look for another network.”
