Troops of the 35 Artillery Brigade, Alamala, Abeokuta, have been advised to collaborate more with other inter-agency groups to enhance the security situation within and around Ogun State.
The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 81 Division of the Nigerian Army, Maj.-Gen. Farouk Mijinyawa, made this statement on Wednesday during a familiarization visit to the command.
Mijinyawa commended the troops for their resilience and dedication to national service, while advising them to maintain a high level of professionalism in their duties.

He emphasized the importance of collaboration and cooperation among security agencies, noting that the army alone cannot handle all security challenges.
“We cannot do it all alone; we need the support of other security agencies. I urge you to continue with your excellent teamwork and spirit. I have received positive reports that Ogun State has been very peaceful. Wherever you are deployed, ensure that you perform your duties effectively.”
The GOC also inspected ongoing projects within the Alamala Barracks.
