8 teams storm Lagos for Perrypays Superstars Cup finale

Lagos is gearing up for one of the most anticipated grassroots football showdowns of the year as the final eight teams of the Perrypays Superstars Cup arrive in the city. With international scouts set to storm the venue, this year’s finals promise to deliver not just thrilling football, but life-changing opportunities for some of Nigeria’s brightest young talents.

After weeks of fierce competition across the Northern and Southern Conferences, eight standout teams have earned their place in the finals — each one bringing flair, passion, and a hunger to etch their names in football history:

1. Makanaki FC – Edo State


2. Young Finishers FC – Delta State


3. Sharpshooters FC – Delta State


4. Champions FC – Delta State


5. Unity FA – Benue State


6. Pride FC – Abuja, FCT


7. Atlantic Integral FA – Niger State


8. Afrik-Euro FC – Abuja, FCT

 

These teams will converge at the iconic National Institute for Sports (NIS) Pitch, inside the National Stadium in Lagos, for a football spectacle set to shake the city.

Quarterfinals: May 1st

Semifinals: May 2nd

Third Place Match & Final: May 4th


With scouts from top international clubs in attendance, this tournament goes beyond trophies. It is a gateway to professional careers for young players eager to take their talent global.

Winner: ₦3,000,000

First Runner-Up: ₦2,000,000

Third Place: ₦1,000,000
