8 British Muslims undertake Hajj journey on bicycles

Published by

EIGHT British Muslims have set off for Saudi Arabia on their bikes hoping to arrive just in time for the Hajj pilgrimage in Makkah by the end of the month.

The bikers will travel through eight countries covering over 3500 kilometres in order to raise £1 million for those affected by the Syrian war, according to One Path Network.

Having kicked off their journey from the United Kingdom, they will travel through France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy then Greece.

Ideally, they would have liked to travel to Saudi Arabia via Turkey, Syria and Jordan, but due to security reasons they will travel by ship from Greece to Egypt before travelling to Saudi Arabia.

They are embarking on this momentous journey, accompanied by two support staff.
