50 Lesson for the Godly Businessman

Published by

“Doing business does not have to be so difficult. God has made the wisdom required for success in your enterprise available to you…” This is how Bimbo Akinjokun introduces his book, “50 Lesson for the Godly Businessman.”

This book contains 50 lessons that are biblical principles on how to run a business successfully.

The author indeed applies a business-like approach to writing this book. He cuts out all the niceties often seen in the first pages of books, such that immediately after the Introduction which is an absolute necessity to any write-up, Akinjokun hits the reader with the first lesson.

Lesson 1 disabuses the minds of so many religious thinking on seed sowing, and informs the reader that practical actions are important “seeds” as is tithing.

In Lesson 2, the author says successful businesses are not obscure, therefore some form of publicity/advertising is needful for a business to thrive.

Wrong business relationships can be a pitfall and Akinjokun warns the reader of such in Lesson 3.

A business should not be anti-God in its purpose is the point in Lesson 4.

Lesson 13 is on how to prosper by treating your employees right.

The essence of rest is in lesson 14.

“Remember that when you empower others, you multiply your own strength!” Akinjokun says in Lesson 15.

Lesson 16 talks about how to remain relevant in the business world for a long time.

Church worship should not suffer for business is the author’s advice in Lesson 17.

Is there a link between marriage and business success? Yes, says Akinjokun and he explains how in Lesson 18.

The secret of America’s first billionaire John D. Rockefeller is the subject of Lesson 19.

How the businessman himself can avoid ending his life as a ‘failed investment’ is the message in Lesson 20.

And so, the book continues with more lessons/principles that touch on areas of business including administration, human and financial resource management, work ethic and even spirituality.

This book is one of Bimbo Akinjokun’s publications, and is published by  Hill-City Inspiration House.
