400 students to benefit from NGO’s free UTME registration in Ekiti

A non-governmental organisation , The Ade Crown Empowerment Foundation (ACEF) is giving out Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) forms to 400 youths in Ikere Ekiti, Ekiti state to enable them further their education.

Speaking during the launch of the 2nd edition of the initiative in Ekiti, the founder ACEF , Ambassador Temitayo Olamide Abiodun noted that the initiative is organised to foster educational opportunities for young Nigerians.

He added that the initiative is meant to ease financial strain on families and also encourage academic pursuits among students.

According to the philanthropist, the initiative which will take place at Jil Cafe, Ikere from 27th of January to 7th of February,2025 is another way of giving educational support to the less privileged in the society out of his numerous programmes.

While he further added that the NGO had also organised some interventions including, distribution of books and school bags to primary and secondary school students, respectively.

“This initiative is part of ACEF’s broader vision of empowering communities through education. The foundation has consistently demonstrated its dedication to supporting educational development through impactful programs.

“In addition to the UTME sponsorship, ACEF has successfully carried out other initiatives, including These efforts underscore the foundation’s holistic approach to addressing educational challenges at multiple levels.

“The success of the first edition, held last year, served as a source of inspiration for this year’s program.

“Many students were able to begin their academic journeys thanks to ACEF’s intervention, and the foundation is optimistic about replicating and even surpassing that impact with this second edition.

“This initiative represents a beacon of hope for families in Ikere Ekiti and demonstrates ACEF’s understanding of the critical role education plays in empowering individuals and driving societal progress.

“Community members are encouraged to spread the word about this initiative, ensuring that deserving students can take advantage of this life-changing opportunity.

“The foundation also invites well-meaning individuals and organizations to support its mission by contributing to its programs.

“As the second edition of the initiative unfolds, we promise to continue to set the pace in grassroots educational development, as this is one of the impactful initiatives the foundation intends to ensure that no child is left behind in the pursuit of quality education,” he concluded.
